As part of Breastfeeding Week, celebrated annually in Turkey between October 1–7, ebebek is bringing parents together this year with its Breastfeeding Festival to be held on October 4. Through its ongoing awareness initiatives, ebebek continues to provide free breastfeeding consultancy to mothers across Turkey and, through its Breastfeeding Support Project, has reached 100,000 mothers to date.
Aiming to raise awareness about the unique benefits of breast milk for infants, ebebek continues to support mothers nationwide through its Breastfeeding Support Project. By offering free breastfeeding consultancy services to 100,000 mothers so far, the project helps ensure that mothers can navigate this unique journey with accurate information and reliable support.
Guided by one of ebebek’s most meaningful mottos, “One Drop, Thousands of Benefits,” the Breastfeeding Support Project aims to serve as a trusted resource for mothers who experience challenges during breastfeeding due to a lack of information or who require guidance throughout the process.
Free Consultancy Across Turkey with 83 Expert Support Ambassadors
Within the scope of the Breastfeeding Support Project, ebebek provides one-on-one, free breastfeeding consultancy services across all 81 provinces of Turkey through a team of 83 experts graduated from Nutrition and Dietetics, Nursing, and Midwifery programs. The selection process for ambassadors consists of four rigorous stages, including article writing, a skills assessment, interviews, and a theoretical exam. Candidates who successfully complete the process receive comprehensive breastfeeding training before engaging with parents.
Communication with the ambassadors is maintained through a dedicated Telegram group, ensuring continuous knowledge exchange. In addition, ambassadors who receive the highest satisfaction ratings from mothers are recognized monthly, while broader team motivation is supported through quarterly rewards.
