ebebek has been awarded the “Green Office – Green Transformation Diploma” for the second time as a result of its sustainability efforts carried out at its headquarters within the scope of WWF-Türkiye’s Green Office – Green Transformation Program.

Within the Green Office program, ebebek focused on raising awareness and food-related initiatives, taking significant steps in these areas. The Green Office Team, composed of volunteers from different departments, redesigned internal communication, training, and awareness campaigns in line with this vision. Environmental trainings provided by WWF-Türkiye were extended across the office, and awareness was supported through regularly shared content on internal communication channels. Surveys conducted to measure employee perception revealed a meaningful increase in sustainability awareness.

To prevent food waste, ebebek implemented portion control practices in cafeteria and dining areas, with daily monitoring of waste generation. In addition to offering half-portion options, portion sizes were adjusted according to needs. Recycling bins were placed in visible areas, and the use of single-use products was reduced. Organic waste was composted and reused, while the use of glass and porcelain products was expanded across the office. As a result, the amount of organic waste not sent to recycling decreased by 11.2%.

To further support sustainable habits, appropriate heating and hygiene conditions were provided for employees who bring their own meals, helping encourage this practice. Waste reduction competitions organized with business partners sharing the same dining facilities enabled the topic of sustainability to be addressed through a more inclusive, cross-organizational approach.

Commenting on the achievement, ebebek Internal Control, Risk Management, and Internal Audit Director İlker Naimoğlu stated: “We do not limit our sustainability approach to operational processes; we integrate it into our corporate culture.
