As a leading brand in Turkey’s mother-baby sector, ebebek celebrates May 28 World Play Day with a variety of activities once again this year. Aiming to strengthen family bonds through play, ebebek seeks to raise awareness across both physical and digital platforms with its motto “Play Builds Bonds.”
ebebek continues to support families in building stronger relationships with their babies through play via its social responsibility project “Play Ambassadors,” launched in 2022. Within the scope of this project, ebebek highlights the crucial role of play in the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of babies, particularly in the 0–4 age group. The Play Ambassadors program offers personalized game and toy recommendations based on babies’ age, developmental stage, and interests, and has provided one-on-one, online, and free consultancy to more than 9,000 barents to date.
In this context, ebebek celebrates World Play Day by setting up special play areas for babies and barents in five of its stores across different cities. Activities are held at Istanbul Beylikdüzü, Ankara Metromall, Bursa Fomara, Izmir Dpark, and Çanakkale Kepez stores, including canvas bag painting, modeling with play dough, block building, and storytelling sessions. Babies participating in the events are also gifted balloons themed “Play Builds Bonds.”
The celebrations are not limited to stores. ebebek hosts a live broadcast on Instagram titled “The Importance of Play in Early Childhood.” Additionally, in collaboration with Madalyon Psychiatry Center, a free online training session titled “Developing Play Skills in Children” is conducted, presented by Clinical Psychologist Deniz Tan. Barents can participate in the training by registering via Bebek.com.
ebebek also shares the excitement of World Play Day across its social media channels. Through a giveaway campaign on Instagram, surprise gift vouchers are offered to barents, while on TikTok, the “Is It a Game, This or That?” filter allows users to revisit their favorite nostalgic games.
ebebek continues to emphasize that building bonds through play is a powerful tool for both baby development and family communication. On World Play Day, it invites all families to play together and take a step closer to this joyful world.
