ebebek’s EBITDA for the First Quarter of 2025 Increased by 33 Percent, Reaching 234 Million TL

ebebek, a leading brand in Turkey’s mother and baby products sector, has announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2025. Prioritizing not only revenue growth but also customer loyalty and satisfaction, the company increased its EBITDA margin by 0.9 percentage points to 4.5 percent and its EBITDA amount by 33 percent to 234 million TL, according to the consolidated financial statements prepared in line with inflation accounting practices.

Maintaining its strong financial structure, ebebek sustained its stable growth performance in the first quarter of 2025. According to the announcement made to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), the company improved key financial performance indicators such as visitor numbers, sales volume, EBITDA margin, and EBITDA amount. In consolidated financial statements prepared in accordance with inflation accounting practices, ebebek grew its revenue by approximately 6 percent year-on-year, reaching 5.2 billion TL. The company recorded a 9.3 percent increase in total units sold in Türkiye compared to the first quarter of 2024, and raised its EBITDA margin and EBITDA amount from 3.6 percent and 177 million TL to 4.5 percent and 234 million TL, respectively.

As of the end of March, the brand continued its journey in the mother and baby sector with 273 physical stores in Türkiye and 2 physical stores in the United Kingdom. During this period, store visitor numbers in Türkiye reached 13.1 million, while visits to the ebebek.com website increased to 40.4 million. In parallel with rising visitor traffic, the total number of products sold in Türkiye grew by 9.3 percent, reaching 23.8 million units.

As part of our store expansion strategy in the United Kingdom, we opened our second physical store in London in the first quarter of 2025. We are also preparing to open one more store in the United Kingdom during the remainder of the year. In addition, our feasibility studies for opening a store in Northern Iraq are ongoing, and this region remains among our priorities. On the other hand, our store expansion process in Türkiye is also progressing rapidly. By the end of the first quarter of 2025, we increased our number of stores in Türkiye to 273, welcoming 13.1 million visitors to our stores and 40.4 million visitors to our website, ebebek.com. Moreover, the number of products sold in Türkiye in the first three months of the year increased by 9.3 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 23.8 million units.”
