A Meaningful Pre-Holiday Visit to Hatay from ebebek

As part of its “Donation Basket from Me to My Sibling” project, ebebek brought renewed toys and various textile products to babies in Hatay. Organized in collaboration with the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality, the event included toy distribution for babies, along with tote bag painting activities, balloon distribution, and dance events led by animators, offering children joyful and memorable moments.

Within the scope of the “Donation Basket from Me to My Sibling” project—aimed at delivering donated toys collected from parents, cleaned, and refurbished through necessary hygiene processes to babies in need—ebebek held a meaningful event in Hatay. Renewed toys were shared with babies in cooperation with the Hatay Metropolitan Municipality.

In addition to toy distribution, painting activities were organized for children in the event area. With clown performances, balloons, and music, the babies danced freely and enjoyed colorful and joyful moments ahead of the holiday.

From Individual Donations to Collective Solidarity

The “Donation Basket from Me to My Sibling” project, initiated by ebebek, allows families to leave toys and clothing they wish to donate in designated baskets placed in selected ebebek stores. These donated items are then cleaned, refurbished, and repackaged through proper hygiene processes before being delivered to babies in need.

This approach aims to strengthen a culture of sharing and solidarity while also supporting sustainability by enabling product reuse. Through this initiative, ebebek seeks to ensure that items pass from one baby to another, helping more children access the products they need.

“We aim to grow the joy of sharing”

Commenting on the project, ebebek Marketing Director Itır Erel Ergül said:

“With our ‘Donation Basket from Me to My Sibling’ project, we aim to transform families’ willingness to share into meaningful solidarity. It is very valuable to us that a toy donated by one baby brings a smile to another. Meeting families and babies in Hatay and bringing these toys together with their new owners was very meaningful for us. The donated items are also being delivered to babies in need in different cities through various institutions. In the coming period, we aim to expand this project and reach even more babies.”
